To quickly summarise, Chris grew up as a normal healthy, active kid but by the end of high school had stopped being active and was at his heaviest weight of lbs or just over kg. At this point he was not only overweight but also a smoker, a partier, depressed, anxious and generally unhappy. He suffered with health issues such as indigestion, lack of quality sleep, feeling tired, bloated and fatigued.

He went to the doctor who prescribed medication but he knew there had to be a better way. So he decided to undertake some research as to what might be beneficial in overcoming his anxiety. His transformation has been much more than just physical.

This is his journey, who he was and who he is today. He no longer struggles with the self confidence to share his story. This week we talk about - More practicalities of transitioning to a plant based diet and small steps to help you make the change - Becoming aware of unconscious thought patterns that may be holding you back, when you become away of them and recognise them then you can change them.

He has run the length of NZ in bed rock sandals, ridden the length of New Zealand on a tandem bike, asking people to join him in order to raise awareness of his mission and the charity work he does Naresh came from very humble beginnings and worked incredibly hard to make a better life for him and his family. He never let the hand he was dealt in life to be an excuse for not achieving more for himself. He dreamed big, always believed in the kindness of strangers and has created an incredible life for himself.

When travelling in Nepal he witnessed the atrocious child sex-trafficking trade first hand.
